Our Mission
 

We want to make learning and revision less stressful for post-primary students in Northern Ireland. Our resources explain topics clearly, follow the curriculum and give students plenty of practice with exam questions. We help students build their understanding and confidence, while giving teachers and parents useful support they can trust.

About NI Schools Hub
 

NI Schools Hub is a family-run business, founded in 2024 by Shane McComb and run alongside his wife and fellow director, Tierna Greene-McComb. We create post-primary learning and revision resources specifically for the Northern Ireland curriculum. Drawing on classroom teaching and examining experience, we focus on what students need to understand and how to apply it in their exams.

We know how much work goes into preparing good learning materials, and how frustrating revision can be when something simply does not make sense. Our aim is to help with both.

Meet the Founder
 

Shane McComb is a teacher, author and senior examiner. He began his career through Teach First and taught in state and independent schools in London before returning to Northern Ireland. Shane writes revision resources, contributes to examination materials and trains teachers in assessment, marking and moderation. He started NI Schools Hub to share the approaches and resources he has developed through teaching and examining. At the heart of this is something familiar to every teacher: finding an explanation that makes sense to a student, then helping them put it into practice.
